Report: Body wrapped in plastic found in dumpster at Lexington apartment complex
Lexington police and the Fayette County Coroner are conducting a death investigation after discovering a body at an apartment complex on Cambridge Drive.
The coroner pronounced the victim, who has not yet been identified, dead at 10:07 p.m. WKYT reports the victim was wrapped in plastic and placed in a dumpster.
The coroner told WKYT the body was partially decomposed, so officials don’t know an official time or cause of death. Police also weren’t able to identify the victim’s gender.
