A man died after being shot by a Laurel County sheriff’s deputy Tuesday afternoon.

Kentucky State Police Trooper Scottie Pennington said the incident happened on Taylor Bridge Road. He said deputies were responding to a dispute when the shooting occurred.

Deputy Coroner Tyson Baker said the suspect’s identity is 46-year-old Andy Brock. WKYT, the Herald-Leader’s reporting partner, reported that Brock lived at the home where the shooting took place.

No deputies were injured, Pennington said.
