Lexington police are investigating two separate deaths that occurred on Linden Walk and Charles Avenue.

The Fayette County Coroner’s Office on Friday confirmed that 35-year-old Ashley Stamper died just before 3 p.m. at her residence on the 300 block of Linden Walk on Wednesday, near the University of Kentucky’s campus. The autopsy is pending and the investigation by the Lexington Police Department is ongoing.

Separately, police and the coroner on Friday confirmed the Wednesday death of 18-month-old Cho’zyn Carter Wilson. Police responded to a call about an unresponsive infant just before 6:30 p.m. Wednesday night at the 800 block of Charles Avenue. The young boy was taken to UK HealthCare’s pediatric emergency room, where he died.
