Updated: Girl, 16, who went missing from Hardin County has been found safe

An Amber Alert was canceled Tuesday after a 16-year-old girl who had been missing from Elizabethtown was found safe.

Kentucky State Police said Tuesday evening that troopers found Julissa Lovick in Louisville.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children had said earlier Tuesday that she had last been seen getting into a car at the College View campus in Elizabethtown at 11 a.m.

Information about who might be accompanying Julissa was not immediately provided.

Anyone with information was asked to contact the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office at 270-737-4217.
