A Central Kentucky police department has identified two juveniles who reportedly tortured and killed a cat.

In a Facebook post Sunday morning, the Georgetown Police Department asked the public for help to name two young men suspected in the incident. The suspects’ photos appear to have been caught on home surveillance footage, but police said the video was “too graphic to post.”

“...the juveniles in the photos tortured a cat at a residence on Locust Street,” police said. “The cat did not survive.”

Around 3 p.m., Georgetown Police said the two juveniles had been identified.

Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at 502-863-7820 and speak with Officer Brist. Callers can remain anonymous.
