At least two instances of shots being fired from vehicles were reported in less than 24 hours in Lexington this weekend.

Police responded to Old Todds Road, Palumbo Drive and Patchen Drive at about 4:10 p.m. Saturday after receiving reports of shooting, said Lt. Nick Whitcomb.

At least one car was hit by gunfire.

And at 8:38 p.m. Friday, officers were called to Newtown Pike and West Third Street, where several victims reported damage to their homes and vehicles as a result of the shooting.

No injuries were reported in either incident, Whitcomb said.
