Updated: Double murder-suicide in Kentucky leaves 3 people dead
Three people were shot in a murder-suicide in Lincoln County late Thursday night, according to Kentucky State Police.
The shooting happened at a home on Main Street in Crab Orchard. KSP said 30-year-old Spencer Baldwin shot Dennis Perry, 40, and Heather Baldwin, 30, before shooting himself.
Spencer Baldwin was declared dead at the home, according to KSP. Perry and Heather Baldwin were transported to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, where Heather Baldwin was later declared dead.
Perry had life-threatening injuries, KSP said. Later Friday morning, the Boyle County Coroner’s Office confirmed Perry later died at the hospital.
Autopsies are scheduled at the Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort. KSP is investigating the shooting.
