Missing Kentucky woman found safe after Ashanti Alert, state police say
A woman who went missing from Rockcastle County Saturday morning was found safe, Kentucky State Police said.
An Ashanti Alert was issued for Megan Cromer, 33, who was last seen at 5:51 a.m. State police said at about 9 a.m. that she had been located.
An alert went out on area cell phones just after 8 a.m.
Ashanti Alerts are issued for missing adults who are believed to be endangered or may have been abducted, according to the Department of Justice.
