Man seriously injured in overnight shooting on Lexington’s Lansdowne Drive

A man in Lexington suffered serious injuries after being shot early Thursday, according to the Lexington Police Department.

The shooting happened around 12:31 a.m. in the area of Lansdowne Drive and Reynolds Road. Lexington police Lt. Nick Whitcomb said the man was found with a gunshot wound at the scene.

The man was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, Whitcomb said.

A vehicle was also damaged in the shooting, according to police. No suspect information was available.
