Three people shot, one critically, in overnight Lexington shooting

A woman was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a triple shooting early Sunday in Lexington.

Lexington police were dispatched around 4 a.m. to the 900 block of Winchester Road, near the intersection of Liberty Road, for reports of a person shot.

Police found the woman suffering from life-threatening injuries, and two men also showed up at a hospital with gunshot wounds while police were on the scene. The men’s injuries are not life-threatening.

A vehicle was also shot.

The investigation is still ongoing, and detectives are asking anyone with information about the case to call Lexington police at 859-258-3600.
