Pedestrian killed in crash near Versailles and Red Mile roads, coroner says

A Lexington man is dead after being struck by a vehicle near Red Mile Road, officials say.

Abamekeze Biame Meh, 46, died of blunt force injuries, according to Fayette County Coroner Gary Ginn.

Meh, a pedestrian, was struck by a vehicle on Versailles and Red Mile roads at 12:45 a.m. Sunday.

Ginn determined the death was an accident.

The coroner and police did not identify the driver or what type of car they were driving.
