- Assistant coach Kris Krolikowski arrested on indecent exposure and stalking charges
A former assistant high school football coach and substitute teacher in Rowan County faces several charges after police say he repeatedly exposed himself to people without their consent.
Kris Krolikowski, 27, is charged with three counts of indecent exposure and one count of stalking. One of his alleged victims, an elderly woman, told police he had been tormenting her for months.
He left handwritten notes on her property telling her he would expose himself at certain times and through specific windows, offering a “free adult show,” said Justin Sutherland, assistant police chief in Owingsville.
The woman obtained a restraining order against Krolikowski after he was arrested Oct. 2 in Bath County.
Police were initially called Oct. 2 to a home on Slate Avenue for a report that Krolikowski was exposing himself and masturbating toward three people. Several witnesses told police Krolikowski had been committing similar crimes for “a long period of time,” police said.
Krolikowski is a substitute teacher in Rowan County and a member of the U.S. Army, Sutherland said.
Michael Rowe, superintendent of Rowan County School District, said Krolikowski resigned as a volunteer assistant coach about a month ago, and his resignation was not related to the charges he now faces.
Krolikowski is being held in Montgomery County Regional Jail on a $1,500 cash bond. He will be arraigned Oct. 7.
Owingsville is a small town in Bath County, about 45 miles east of Lexington.
