Kentucky State Police searching for inmate who escaped from jail

Kentucky State Police are looking for a man who escaped from the Henderson County Detention Center Tuesday afternoon.

Timothy A. Oliver, 53, who was serving a sentence for third-degree burglary, escaped custody at 1:15 p.m., according to state police.

Oliver is white, 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs 200 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last wearing blue jeans, a gray shirt and a ball cap.

Anyone with information about his location is asked to call their local law enforcement agency or contact KSP Post 16 at 270-826-3312.

Henderson County is south of Evansville, about 200 miles west of Lexington.
