Woman found shot dead at Eastern Kentucky home. KSP investigating
A woman was found shot dead recently in a Floyd County home.
Jill Howell, 34, of Prestonsburg, was found unresponsive Oct. 23 in a home on East Back Street in the McDowell community, according to Kentucky State Police.
Howell was pronounced dead at the scene, and her body was taken to the state medical examiner’s office for an autopsy.
Kentucky State Police are investigating. No information about a potential suspect was available Tuesday evening.
Prestonsburg is about 120 miles east of Lexington.
