During a 911 call placed at sometime during the incident, court documents say dispatch heard a woman say “ow” before the call ended. There were no visible marks on the woman’s hand from the assault, record indicate.
He was booked into the Jessamine County Detention Center and released from jail the same day after posting a $500 bond, according to court records.
Baldwin’s wife also filed for a domestic violence protection order Nov. 25, according to court records. An emergency protective order was entered the same day.
Baldwin is scheduled to appear in Jessamine District Court for an arraignment on the assault charge Thursday, Jan. 8, according to court records.
The fire department will also conduct an internal investigation of the incident, Roberts said.
