A New York man will serve at least eight years in prison for conspiracy to distribute 14 ounces of fentanyl and more than a pound of meth disguised as other medications and shipped to Kentucky.

Wilson Molina, 33, of Sunnyside, New York, recently pleaded guilty to trafficking counterfeit pills containing fentanyl and meth, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Kentucky. The pills were made to appear as if they were 30 milligram oxycodone pills, while those containing meth appeared like Adderall tablets.

Molina was arraigned and held without bail by the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York in February 2025 before being committed to Kentucky. He accepted a plea agreement in September, according to court documents.

On multiple occasions, justice officials said, Molina supplied one of his co-conspirators with illegal substances that were shipped to Kentucky from a coordinated distribution facility in New York City. The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency executed a search warrant at a storage unit in February 2025 and seized more than 3.4 million counterfeit pills.

Molina was sentenced to 10 years, but must serve at least 85% of his sentence under federal law. He will be subject to five years of probation upon release.
