Two people hospitalized in separate shootings in Lexington on Tuesday
Two people were injured in separate shootings in Lexington on Tuesday evening.
Lexington police were called to Coolavin Apartments on the 500 block of West Sixth Street at about 8:40 p.m.
When they arrived, police found a man with a gunshot wound, the Lexington Police Department said in a social media post. He was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening.
Police said they had identified everyone involved.
In the earlier shooting, Lexington police were called to the 1700 block of Cantrill Drive, at the intersection with Green Hills Road, just after 5:30 p.m. There, they found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening, police said in a social media post.
Police said they did not have any information about a suspect.
