Three people are dead after an apparent murder-suicide that resulted in a high-speed police chase and ended in Laurel County, according to law enforcement.

James Priddy, 21, of Bimble, Jadence Ann Marie Hale, 18, and Kira Lila Hope Asher, 19, of Lily, were found dead inside a car Saturday night.

An initial investigation shows that Priddy shot and killed Hale and Asher before shooting himself, according to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office.

Priddy and Hale were reportedly dating, according to police.

The three individuals were located after police and Priddy engaged in a high-speed pursuit around 10:45 p.m. Saturday night.

Barbourville Police Department were notified of a domestic violence complaint that originated in Knox County, and that police were searching for a red Chevrolet Cobalt.

The person who contacted police said the three left to get something to eat and parents were concerned about domestic violence.

Police eventually located Priddy and the pursuit ended on Kentucky 312 in southern Laurel County when Priddy struck another stopped car.
