Kentucky police searching for man who escaped from Madison County jail

Kentucky State Police are searching for an inmate who escaped Thursday from the Madison County Detention Center.

Calain Myers, 23, of Lexington, escaped just before midnight June 11, according to KSP.

Myers is described as a 6-foot white man, weighing 165 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and orange pants.

Myers was serving a sentence for third-degree wanton endangerment, driving under the influence, unauthorized use of a vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia, KSP reported.

KSP is asking anyone with information Myers’s whereabouts to contact their local law enforcement agency or KSP Post 7 at 859-623-2404.

The ongoing investigation is being conducted by KSP Trooper Bailie Wilson.
