3 shooting victims in Clark identified

WINCHESTER — The Clark County coroner has identified three men found shot to death in a rural home Sunday night.

Each of the men — Clayton W. Edge, 23, Robert R. Reese, 24, and Dustin A. Browning, 21, all of Winchester — died of a single gunshot wound, according to Clark County Coroner Robert Gayheart.

The three will undergo autopsies in Frankfort.

Sheriff Berl Perdue Jr. said authorities "are investigating the case as a triple homicide."

"We're playing it pretty close to the vest right now," Perdue said. "It's a shame; it's a tragedy. I only knew one of them, and he comes from a good family."

Perdue said he has two detectives working on the case with state police. Perdue said investigators have identified people they are interested in talking to about the deaths.

The house where the men were found is in the 2500 block of Pine Ridge Road.

Perdue said his office was called by friends of the men who went looking for them.
