Lexington man shot to death outside Fortune Drive bar

Lexington police are searching for two men in connection with the death of a man who was shot several times in the torso early Monday.

Micole Dent, 32, of Lexington, died at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital after the shooting about 12:40 a.m. Monday in a parking lot near This is It bar at 2473 Fortune Drive, officials said.

Witnesses told police that Dent, who had been inside the bar, was standing in the parking lot talking to two people not involved in the shooting, Lexington police spokeswoman Sherelle Roberts said.

Two black males wearing dark clothing and masks over their faces approached Dent and shot him, police said.

Roberts said the men fled on foot.
