One man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in Clinton County on Monday was found alive Tuesday, and another suspect apparently shot himself, police said.
State police were looking for two men in connection with the death of Anthony W. Hargis, 36, of Albany, who was found shot to death found about 4:30 p.m. Monday outside a residence on Ida Road in Clinton County.
Troopers sought James D. Polston, 38, and Randall L. Wilkinson, 22. On Tuesday afternoon, the two were found at a house trailer on Ky. 127 south of Albany, state police said. Wilkinson fled on foot, and investigators apprehended him.
State police used a robot and a camera to find Polston lying on the floor of the trailer, dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
