Man set to be released next week fails to return from work release

A man set to be released from the Division of Community Corrections on Nov. 26 failed to return after work release Tuesday.

John Milton Pursifull had been convicted of first-degree possession of a controlled substance and operating on a suspended or revoked license, according to a news release by the Department of Public Safety.

Pursifull, 32, is described as 6 feet tall and 150 pounds, with red hair and blue eyes, according to the department.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Pursifull and anyone with information about his whereabouts is encouraged to contact Lexington police, according to the department.
