Woman is arrested in connection with 2011 robbery and murder

A woman wanted on charges related to a 2011 murder was arrested Thursday in Laurel County.

Natasha Martin, 30, of Clay City is accused of participating in a robbery on Dec. 22, 2011 in Montgomery County, according to a news release from the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office. Paul Brewer was killed during the robbery.

Martin was arrested about 6:30 p.m. Thursday off Adams Road after a Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office detective notified Laurel County officials of her whereabouts, police said.

Martin is being held in the Laurel County jail.
