Two Lexington businesses were robbed Sunday night, and police suspect the same person may be responsible for both.
A man entered the H & M Market on North Limestone with a handgun about 9:30 p.m. Sunday and demanded cash, Lt. Kevin Metcalf said.
The man wore a gray sweatsuit with a white scarf over his face, Metcalf said. He got away with an undetermined amount of cash.
About 20 minutes later, a Marathon station on West Main Street was robbed, Metcalf said.

Surveillance footage indicated the same man was responsible for both robberies, Metcalf said.
In the Marathon station robbery, the robber also flashed a handgun and got away with an undetermined amount of cash, Metcalf said.
The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made yet.
