3 Henry County men charged in slaying of Oldham County woman

Three Henry County men were arrested Tuesday in connection with the death of an Oldham County woman.

Angela Hall, 34, of La Grange had been missing since Nov. 20. Kentucky State Police said that a body found “in a location described to investigators by the suspects” had been identified as that of Hall.

The body was found on Cropper Road in Shelby County, police said.

After a series of interviews with suspects and witnesses, John Downey, 30, and Bobby Long, 30, both of New Castle, were arrested, police said. Joshua Sparkman, 30, of Campbellsburg, also was arrested.

Downey was charged with murder, abuse of a corpse, first-degree assault and tampering with evidence, police said. Long was charged with murder and abuse of a corpse, and Sparkman was charged with first-degree assault.

All three are being held at the Carroll County jail, police said.
