A 52-year-old Boyle county man has been charged with multiple counts of possessing and distributing child pornography, according to Kentucky State Police.
Shannon Miller of Danville was arrested Tuesday after an undercover investigation, according to state police. Investigators allegedly observed Miller sharing explicit images and videos of young children online.
He has been charged with distribution and 20 counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor, according to police. Each charge is a felony offense and could be punishable by up to five years in prison.
Miller was arrested after his house was searched and police seized “equipment used to facilitate the crime,” according to state police. The Kentucky State Police Forensic Laboratory will examine the equipment.
