A man was arrested and charged Monday after three pedestrians were struck on Midland Avenue where it becomes Winchester Road.

All three were taken to the hospital Sunday night after they were hit. One of the pedestrians sustained critical injuries, Lexington police Sgt. Ann Welch said Monday. The other two were injured, but the extent of their injuries was unclear.
