Man uses note to rob Jessamine County Kroger pharmacy of painkiller

The Jessamine County sheriff’s office is looking for a man who got away with Oxycodone after robbing the Kroger on Harrodsburg Road Wednesday night.

The man was walking around the store before he approached the pharmacy counter around 9 p.m., Chief Deputy Allen Peel said. He slipped a note to the clerk saying they had 30 seconds to give him Oxycodone or someone would get hurt.

The clerk complied, Peel said. No weapon was ever shown.

The suspect is being described as a dark-complected white man in his late twenties or early thirties wearing baggy blue jeans, a black jacket, a dark ball cap and a surgical mask, Peel said

Anyone with information about the case can call the sheriff’s office at 859-885-4139.
