Tennessee ‘Most Wanted’ fugitive found behind Laurel County refrigerator
One of Tennessee’s Top 10 Most Wanted was found behind a refrigerator in London Thursday night.
Rick James Brock, 51, was wanted on four counts of aggravated assault with a firearm and four counts of child rape in Clairborne County, Tenn. Brock was found behind a small fridge and panels at his brother’s house just after 7:30 p.m., according to a release from the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office.
Brother Mark Rasnick, 45, repeatedly told investigators his brother wasn’t there, which led to hindering prosecution or apprehension and resisting arrest charges, police say.
Both brothers were taken to Laurel County Sheriff’s office — where police say Brock assaulted a police officer and attempted to escape before being subdued.
The brothers are at the Laurel County Detention Center.
