Crime of the Week
This week’s Crime of the Week is a robbery of the Pak & Save at 503 East Third Street. Police say that at 10:42 a.m. Jan. 10, a man wearing a blue UK hoodie, black pants and orange shoes made a small purchase. He left, then returned at 10:57 a.m. — this time wearing a different hoodie and covering his face (but wearing the same pants and orange shoes). He brandished a gun and demanded cash.
Bluegrass Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the solving of this crime.
Suspect of the Week
The Suspect of the Week this week, Jamal Edward Mott, 27, is wanted on burglary charges. He is described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds.
