Manchester man charged with murder after fight in Jackson County

A Manchester man was charged with murder in the death Thursday of another man in Jackson County, Kentucky State Police said.

Bradley Muncy, 36, of Manchester died at a home on Bailey Road near Annville. Harry Henson, 38, also of Manchester, was charged with murder and four counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, state police said.

Police said Henson and Muncy were involved in an altercation when Henson stabbed Muncy with a knife. He alsothreatened four other people who were present, police said. Muncy died at the scene. Henson fled and was arrested a short time later by state police and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

State police were called shortly before 3 p.m. Thursday.

After his arrest, Henson was taken to a hospital for treatment of an injury he suffered during the altercation.
