Stabbing victim walks into Lexington fire station
A man walked into a Lexington fire station Sunday afternoon with what appeared to be stab wounds from an assault, according to police.
The man was taken to the hospital with injuries to his chest that did not appear to be life-threatening, police Lt. Albert Johnson said.
The man walked into the fire station on on East Third Street and said the stabbing occurred on Upper Street, Johnson said.
The man was not able to provide a detailed description of the suspect; the stabbing is being investigated as an assault case, Johnson said.
