Laurel County man arrested after errant bullets hit homes
A London man was charged with wanton endangerment Sunday after two bullets hit people’s homes, police said.
One of the bullets went through an exterior wall into the floor of a bathroom, which had been occupied right before the bullet struck, according to a release from the Laurel County sheriff’s office. Another bullet struck the roof of a different house.
In addition to wanton endangerment, Calvin Earl Barger III, 42, was charged with criminal mischief after he was arrested about 3 p.m. Police say Barger had been “shooting guns in the side yard into a target,”
Barger was taken to the Laurel County Detention Center.
