Man shot in the leg at Palomar Centre
Police are investigating after a man with a gunshot wound to the leg was dropped off at a Lexington hospital Thursday.
The 19-year-old was shot at Palomar Centre about 2 p.m., police said. A white vehicle had been seen driving off after the shooting.
The teen’s injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
This was the fifth shooting in Lexington this week.
Police do not believe the shootings are connected. Anyone with information can call police at 859-258-3600.
