Shooting in Pikeville being investigated as a murder-suicide

Police are investigating after two men were found dead of gunshot wounds Thursday night in downtown Pikeville.

The investigation so far indicates that the shooting may have been a murder-suicide, according to the Pikeville public safety office.

Police found the men in an apartment on Main Street. They died before responders arrived.

The names of the two men are not being released until relatives can be notified.
