Crime of the Week

This week’s Crime of the Week is a series of high-dollar thefts from Lowe’s stores in Lexington by an organized ring of thieves. The most recent was on Feb. 29, when they stole two Dyson vacuums valued at $1,000. The items were later returned for a gift card, which was then pawned for cash.

Bluegrass Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the solving of this crime.

Suspect of the Week

The Suspect of the Week this week, Jason R. Taylor, 38, is wanted on charges of trafficking cocaine, fleeing from police in a motor vehicle, and tampering with evidence. He is described as 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing 210 pounds.
