Man wanted in Lexington shooting death is arrested in Detroit

A man wanted in connection with the January shooting death of Timothy Brown Jr. was arrested Tuesday in Detroit.

Devonte Martez Hobbs, 21, has been charged with murder and first-degree robbery, according to Lexington police. He was arrested by U.S. Marshals.

Brown, 23, was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot of the McDonald’s at 1499 Russell Cave Road on the night of Jan. 12.

Hobbs is being held in the Wayne County jail in Michigan.
