Police looking for attempted bank robbery suspect in Jessamine County

The Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who tried to rob the Fifth Third Bank on Springdale Drive on Thursday afternoon.

The man passed a note to a teller demanding money, the sheriff’s office said. He is described as being between 5 feet, 8 inches and 5 feet, 10 inches tall. He was wearing a hooded shirt with a scarf and sunglasses.

The man left without getting any cash and got into a black sedan with a female driver, the sheriff’s office said.
