Louisville murder suspect arrested after four-county high-speed chase
A suspect in a Louisville murder case was arrested in Warren County Friday morning after a high-speed chase, Kentucky State Police said.
Troopers saw the suspect’s vehicle, a 2000 Nissan passenger car, traveling southbound on Interstate 65 at 8:37 a.m., state police said. They attempted to pull over the vehicle, but the suspect fled.
The troopers pursued the vehicle at a high rate of speed through four counties until he lost control of his vehicle and wrecked off the right side of the road about 8:45 a.m., state police said.
Stuart Cox, 24, was arrested and charged with murder in the shooting death of a woman in Louisville earlier Friday morning, state police said.
The Louisville Courier-Journal reports that the shooting victim was Cox’s girlfriend, Tracey L. Brock, 20.
