Crime of the Week

This week’s crime of the week is an attempted robbery of the Dixie Mart at 1875 Augusta Drive at 8 p.m. on March 6. A man entered the store and handed a letter to the clerk demanding cash from the register. Since there were other customers nearby, the clerk loudly and repeatedly told the man she did not want to give him the money. The man threatened her and then thread, promising to return.

Bluegrass Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the solving of this crime.
