University of Kentucky police investigating armed robbery on campus
University of Kentucky police are investigating after an armed robbery in a campus parking structure near the Kentucky Clinic on Wednesday.
The victim told investigators that the robber had a weapon, UK spokesman Jay Blanton said. UK police would not discuss what kind of weapon was used.
The parking structure, Parking Structure 3, is behind the clinic and sits off of Huguelet Drive.
No arrests have been made. UK police said the victim knew the robber.
Police were called about the robbery at 2:57 p.m., UK spokeswoman Kathy Johnson said. A UK alert was sent out at 3:08 p.m., and an all clear was given at 3:28 p.m.
