Officials: Man, woman found dead in Elsmere were homicide victims

Police have ruled out murder-suicide as the possible causes of death for the man and woman found dead inside an Elsmere home last week.

On Tuesday, Kenton County Commonwealth Attorney Rob Sanders said autopsies confirmed both Carolyn Ann Tomlinson, 28, and Charles Douglas Eapmon, 32, were victims of homicides.

The deceased were found last Wednesday at 415 Merravay Drive by police at approximately 10 a.m.

Previously, the case had been investigated as a murder-suicide, Sanders said.

"We're treating it as a homicide investigation until we know any different," Sanders said Thursday.
