Police are asking for the public’s help as they look for information about a fatal hit-and-run Friday morning at Industry and New Circle roads.

Roger E. Morrison, 52, died at 4:50 a.m. after being struck by a car, according to the Fayette County coroner’s office. Morrison was crossing New Circle when he was struck, according to the coroner’s office.

Surveillance video shows that Morrison was hit at about 4:10 a.m. by a dark-colored four-door car that likely now has damage to the front passenger’s side and windshield, police said. The video also showed that the impact threw Morrison several feet, and a light-colored car swerved to avoid hitting him.
