Jessamine man arrested on 20 counts of child sexual exploitation

Kentucky State Police arrested a Jessamine County man Thursday on charges of child sexual exploitation.

Cody B. Anderson, 19, was arrested on 20 counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor, state police said.

Anderson was arrested after an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The state police Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect uploading images of child sexual exploitation online.

Police executed a warrant Thursday at Anderson’s home. Equipment suspected of being used in the crimes was seized and taken to a forensic laboratory for examination, police said.

Anderson was being held in the Jessamine County jail. Each charge is a felony punishable one to five years in prison.
