Man dies after Jeep lands on top of him in Russell Springs
A man in his thirties died Saturday after his vehicle landed on top of him on Ky. 76 near Russell Springs.
Pedro Zungia, 35, was driving a 1995 Jeep when the car left the road and flipped just before 10:00 p.m., according to a release from Kentucky State Police. Zungia was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected in the crash.
The Jeep landed on top of Zungia, police said. He died at the scene.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, investigators said.
