Help police find man who assaulted, robbed a woman at Kroger
Lexington police are asking for the public’s help to find a man who assaulted and robbed a woman in a grocery store parking lot Thursday night.
The woman was loading groceries into her vehicle outside of the Kroger in Tates Creek Centre just before 11 p.m. when a man approached her and tried to take her purse, police said. The man struck the woman in the face, took the purse and left in an older-model white pickup truck with striping on one side.
The woman sustained minor injuries, police said.
The man is described as being about 6 feet tall and heavyset.
