Lexington police arrested a man Sunday who’s wanted in connection with a murder in Anderson County, just a week after four other men were arrested in the case.

Jordan Jackson, 28, was pulled over on East New Circle Road on Sunday afternoon during a traffic stop, said Lt. Andrew Daugherty of the Lexington Police. Officer realized he was already wanted on an outstanding murder warrant and arrested him.

Police say he was involved in the Oct. 11 shooting death of Damycal Tre Bolton, 18, at the Lawrenceburg convention center.

On May 13, Kentucky State Police arrested Kendall R. Berry, 28, and William L. Edwards, 27, charged each with complicity to murder, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and first-degree wanton endangerment. State police also arrested Antoine Q. James, 28, and Kenneth R. Berry, 23 and charged them with complicity to murder.

Jordan is being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
