Man arrested after stabbing on Cambridge Drive

Lexington police arrested a man in connection with a stabbing incident on Saturday night.

Adrian Hicks, 34, was charged with first degree assault after police were called to the 1900 block of Cambridge Drive at 7:22 p.m. in reference to an assault with a weapon.

When officers arrived, they found a 34-year-old victim suffering from a stab wound to his neck. He was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Witnesses told officers that the victim and Hicks were in the apartment drinking when the two got into an argument. The argument escalated and Hicks stabbed the victim.
