Two arrested in case of man found shot in road in Knox County
Two people have been arrested in connection with the shooting of a Corbin man who died after being found in the middle of the road in Knox County.
James Havens, 26, of Corbin, was found by a Knox County sheriff’s deputy, and state police were called to the scene at Right Fork-East Creek Road in the Gray community at 12:45 a.m. Saturday, according to news releases from state police. Havens was pronounced dead of a gunshot wound at Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin.
Lawrence Collinsworth, 33, and Jennifer Folgman, 36, both of Corbin, were charged Saturday with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon in connection with the case, according to state police. They were taken to the Knox County Detention Center.
State police said more arrests are possible.
